ある安息日のこと、食事をするために、あるパリサイ派のかしらの家にはいって行かれたが、人々はイエスの様子をうかがっていた。
【あるあんそくにちのこと、しょくじをするために、あるパリサイはのかしらのいえにはいっていかれたが、ひとびとはイエスのようすをうかがっていた。】
[aru ansokunichino koto, shokujiwo suru tameni, aru parisaihano kashirano ieni haitte ikaretaga, hitobitoha iesuno yousuwo ukagatte ita.]

when he went into the house of one of the rulers

[　wen　hiː　went　ɪntuː　ðə　haʊs　əv　wʌn　əv　ðə　ruːləɚz　]
of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread,

[　əv　ðə　færəsiːz　ɑn　ə　sæbəθ　tə　iːt　bred　]
that they were watching him.
