(ルカ 4:20)
イエスは聖書を巻いて係りの者に返し、席に着かれると、会堂にいるみんなの者の目がイエスに注がれた。
【イエスはせいしょをまいてかかりのものにかえし、せきにつかれると、かいどうにいるみんなのもののめがイエスにそそがれた。】
[iesuha seishowo maite kakarino mononi kaeshi, sekini tsukareru to, kaidouni iru min'nano monono mega iesuni sosogareta.]
　
He closed the book,

gave it back to the attendant,
【　ゲイヴ　イト　ベアク　トウ　ずイー　アテンダント　】
[　geɪv　ɪt　bæk　tə　ðiː　ətendənt　]
and sat down.
【　アンド　セアト　ダウンヌ　】
[　ənd　sæt　daʊn　]
The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
